Check the door handle in side door panel there is a rod that goes into the door handle that might have fallen out of it or more likely broken the door handles at a junk yard are about 5 dollars if you take off make sure it function that none of the teeth of the handle are broken and and make sure you have the right or left door handle it will be marked on inside of interior door handle . this handle slides forward towards the front of vehicle for removal then turn to remove rod from handle.

My driver side door wont open from inside or outside

it appears you have a broken latch
the bad news is when your latch breaks like this you will end up destroying the interior door skin in order to get the door open

the good news is that almost any good garage can make the repair quickly

My driver and passenger doors won't open. I can open the rear doors with no problem. what could this be?

Are the doors locked or unlocked? if unlocked will they open with the inside door handles?if you can then i would say the handles are broken on the outside.

Rear passenger door lock fell down inside door.

open the door panel and locate the lock. screws are usually found on the handle inside, clips under the panel.

Ford explorer 1997 xlt, the inside door handle does not work

I had the same problem and I finally found the solution after taking the panels from the inside of the door. Ford makes these vehicles with plastic clips to hold the bar that releases the latch and after so much repetitive usage of them they break. so most likely you will need to go to a ford dealership to get these clips which are stupidly priced at $3.00 a piece. All you need to do is take out the old pieces and put in the new and they'll most likely last you for another 10 yrs. but that's not a guaranteed fix from Ford.

1994 Ford Explorer, both back doors wont open. I think the child locks are locked on, but I can't open them from the outside either, I have the door skin off of one of them. Is there a pin or latch I can...

if you can open the door from the outside of the truck when you look at the backside of the door you should see a little opening for the child safety locks one way locks the door so it cant be opened from the inside the way other way unlocks the safety latch the door should be able to be opened from the inside and outside of the truck
