On my 1995 Cadillac Concours, the headlights (low beams) do not come on every time but all the other lights do. If I pull back the signal arm (which normally tunrs on brights) the brights will illuminate but when I release the signal arm they turn off again. Occasionally the low beams will work.
Check for bad wire or a rub...also check your connection between your plug and light

Look if the engine is doing what you say then it is overheating and there is no problem with the sensor, remember the sensor only tells what is going on, it does not cause anything like overheating. Have you bled the system of air, there is a factory procedure to do this.

u have to remove the panel that has the door handle in it, remove the panel which has the window and the seat adjusters, unplug the wires and just lift the door panel and there u are.

its probably a bad alternator check it and make sure its workin right if its not that then it could be the voltage regulator do the blinkers come on but not blink

Why did you pull them out? I suspect that the right one did not get seated properly or there is corrosion in the connection - is the housing watertight? I don't think it's a relay since neither would work. Could be a bad ground connection on that side.
