you should take to dealer and have them reset the radio as when power is loist it liocks the radio so it cant be used if stolen with out the unlock code for it. this is a theft system feature.

the thermostat is located in the cylinder head and is retained by a plastic housing (aluminum on COOPER S). the thermostat begins to open at 89-92°C and is fully open at 103°C.
the MINI COOPER thermostat housing also incorporates the cooling system pressure cap (MINI COOPER S system pressure cap is installed on the expansion tank).

never heard of it to be truthful ,like to help but i havent come across this problem ,only thing i can think of is mute button somewhere on the radio facia

check tyres for buldges or rims for flat spots

its a mini fuse most likely a 15 or 20 amp
