The service stability system light came on in my cadillac deville 2002.what do i have to fix on the car?

The stability control system is typically triggered by the abs system/connector sensor on your wheel hub bearing. If you haven't replaced your hub bearings on the front you may have one going bad. Cheap fix for a diy.

are you driving over underground power cables when this happens?

Check for codes as with all vehicle issues,every
time any dash light stays lite,nothing new,same
precedure 32 years running

Whenever this warning or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module has detected a fault, it then disables the system as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

You have Malfunction Indicator Lamp lite on your dash,
I assume for some time & ask if you have checked for the
ABS Braking System Codes,since the Stability Light is on

I will assume you have no owners manual & haven't given
much thought to going to a repair shop within a couple of days
of any vehicle issue

Need the codes,then have a shop diagnose that systems problems

Could be a Wheel Speed Sensor,or not

you have a serious problem with your brakes have fixed immediatly brakes will lock up on you possible causeing accident the light is a warning light the brakes are grabeing cause there failing

Whats dose it mean went I have my service stability system light on and it dosent trun off .. I have a Cadillac escalade truck 02 All wheel drive hope some one could help me.......

it is saying you have bad stuts. you need to have it scanned to see which ones are bad.

Had same problem,called my Cadillac buddy and he said pick up both crankshaft position sensors.Charged me $100 cash and has not stalled again,drove me nuts for two years.

you have a bad senser have to check each wheel well you could have a bad computer also
