What is the proper way to install a timing belt on a 96 honda accord? any kind of diagram would also do.

suggestion ,if you need a diagram entrust this to a proper mechanic because this is not for the weekend mechanic.if its 2008 model it shouldnt need changing till its done 80,000 minimum

I need a belt routing diagram for a 1993 Honda Accord with a/c.

1990-95 4-Cylinder Accord and 1992-95 Prelude

On all engines except VTEC, the belt adjuster arm must be locked in place using one of the lower cover mounting bolts

The balancer shaft must be held in position during timing belt installation

Timing belt and components used on the Accord V-6

Usually you have to be at TDC for piston #1 after the compression stroke. There will be a spot/mark/indentation on each gear. There should also be spots on the timing belt. Everything should line up.
Your engine is a 'interference fit" so if the belt breaks, or isn't installed correctly, things will start banging together and it will get real expensive to fix.
