Question about 1990 Chevrolet K1500
Unplug the single pin connector on the passenger side firewall near the distributor it is on a brown wire this disables the computer advance. Now set the timing to 0 degrees and plug the connector back in. this is the same for all GM full size trucks 88-94 94-98 connector is located in the passenger compartment usually under the dash on the passenger side.
