Theoretically, if the oil is changed every 3000 miles and the rest of the maintenance is done on schedule, the motor will last for many thousands more miles. Unfortunately, everything else on the car must be maintained as well as parts are always going to need replacing.

What is done at the 135000 mile recommended maintenance for a 2001 honda

The following URL will take you to an on-line manual for your Accord. Look through the maintainence section on page 219 (especially pages 224 and 225).

https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/AC0101/AC0101MAINIDX.pdf

You will need Adobe Reader (free from Adobe) to read the manual, and you can not save it except in sections, but you can print off any info you will need.

Hope this helps you.

How do I reset my Check Engine Light?

you could go to an auto parts store and they can reset it for you, or you could pull your battery cables off the battery and hold them together for about 10 sec. that will clear any codes.

1997 Buick Lesabre, 95,000 miles

usually comes on when you have to much/to little oil, or it needs to be changed, with the oil filter.. that should be the only reasons for it coming on.

Im Lookin at A 1996 BMW 328i With 220k miles... but has been well maintained. will it still hold up for more miles on it? $3K

It books for about 3400, so it is not a bad deal, be prepared to replace major parts soon at that mileage no matter how well maintained. I would not purchase it.
