I have a 1989 mitsubishi eclipse USA import can't get spark to the spark plugs replaced coil which is in distributor and replaced the distributor still no spark can anyone help ?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your 1989 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Here are a few things that you can check to try to get spark to the spark plugs: Check the spark plug wires: The spark plug wires can become damaged over time, which can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Inspect the spark plug wires for any cracks or breaks. If you find any damage, replace the spark plug wires. Check the spark plugs: The spark plugs can also become fouled or damaged over time, which can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs and inspect them for any damage. If you find any damage, replace the spark plugs. Check the ignition coil: The ignition coil is responsible for generating the spark that ignites the fuel in the engine. If the ignition coil is faulty, it can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Inspect the ignition coil for any damage or signs of wear. If you find any damage, replace the ignition coil. Check the distributor cap and rotor: The distributor cap and rotor are responsible for distributing the spark from the ignition coil to the spark plugs. If the distributor cap or rotor is faulty, it can prevent spark from reaching the spark plugs. Inspect the distributor cap and rotor for any damage or signs of wear. If you find any damage, replace the distributor cap and rotor. If you have checked all of these things and you are still not getting spark to the spark plugs, it is possible that there is a problem with the engine's computer. In this case, it is best to take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair. Here are some tips to help prevent these problems from happening in the future: Change your spark plugs and spark plug wires according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Keep your engine clean and well-maintained. Avoid running your vehicle on low fuel. If you notice any problems with your vehicle's performance, have it checked out by a qualified mechanic as soon as possible.

How to install cap and rotor on a 2000 chevy blazer 4.3ltre v-6

Disconnect the wires and take pictures with cell phone for reference to ensure you don't cross them when reinstalling the new distributor cap. Remove the two torque screws in the distributor cap and remove the distributor cap to access the rotor. Remove the rotor by lifting straight up and inspect the distributor for any condensation and corrosion. Clean the breather screen at the bottom of the distributor before installing the new rotor which just slides back in place. Install the new distributor cap and tighten the new torque screws, make sure you do not over torque the screws since the distributor housing is plastic and prone to stripping. Reattach the spark plug wires and start the engine and idle for 5 min and go for a test drive. Good luck and you may want to also buy spark plug boot lubricant to ensure the spark plug wires are fully installed when placed back on the new distributor cap and recheck connections after test drive. Keep me posted, be glad to know your blazer is running 100% and please rate.

I installed spark plug wires wrong on a 4.3 gm motor for 2000 gmc sonoma now it does not start need wire schematic to guide me

Standing at front of truck, looking under the hood.

The closest cylinder to you on your right is #1. #2 is close left. #3 is middle right, #4 middle left. #5 is back right and #6 is back left.

Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2. This is the sequence for placing the wires on distributor cap in a clockwise direction. #1 spot on cap is the 3rd post after the wiring harness (clockwise). This post should be closest to cylinder #5.

Spark plug wire position on distributor cap

1-5-3-6-2-4
ALL Jeep 4.0 motors use this firing order. Any year, any model, high output or not.

Also, the spark plug wire placement on the cap, in a clockwise direction from the post nearest the engine block is: 6-2-4-1-5-3.(to the left side of the number 6 post, there should be a hold downscrew or strap for fastening the distributor cap to the distributor.
