2000 C5 Corvette turn signals and running lights not working

The turn signals and running lights are not working, but brake lights and front headlights are. Could this be a fuse problem and where can I find the fuse box or how to check the lamps to see if they are burned out. Thank you for your help. LeeAnn

Hi, LeeAnn. It might be a fuse problem, and it's always to start with the easy stuff. The turn signal fuse is inside on the passenger side under the floor mat and under a small piece of carpet towards the front of the car. It's fuse number 15 and it's a 20 Amp fuse. If the fuse is good, activate the hazard flashers and see it the bulbs blink.

I just got a 2000 Chevy Corvette C5. The front turn signals needed bulbs, after the install the front are on in the off position and off in the on position ???

in your fuse box there should be a round usually silver in color relay that controls the blinking of the turn signal. its where the clicking sound coms from. you need to replace that relay.. "note" if you have installed LED bulbs... Then that is where your having trouble. The LED or [Light Emitting Diode] does not pull enough amps [Load] required to make the relay function properly. it is why when one of the bulbs ...be it in the front or in the rear goes out the remaining one flashes faster. You can either replae the LEDs with regular bulbs, or with LEDs that are designed to be signal bulbs with built in resistors or there is resistors you can add to the + wire to simulate the Load required for the flasher relay to operate properly...

How do you change the turn signal bulb on front passenger on my 2000 corvette?

Do it the easy way! Pop down the brake duct cooling vent on the front fasica and stick your arm, not real comfortable, throught there feeling around for the light bulb. It might take a minute or two to find the first time, but it's not hard. When you find it turn it 1/4 turn and remove it. The wire is long enough to come out of the front opening so you can change the bulb and replace easily. Pop the brake duct back in place and you're done. 5 minutes max first time, I can do it in about 30 seconds now.
Or you can take off the bezel around the headlights and reach down and unplug the light socket. Does not work well with large arms.

- there is an access panel under the front fasica that you can remove and have total access to the area where the lights are. Just have to get the car up off the ground a bit.

Replace turn signal bulbs on 2001 corvette

Rears are simply remove the two screws on the lens and remove the tail light from the Vette, twist the connector to get to the bulb. Reverse instructions to install. For the fronts jack up the front, remove the small closeout panel under each side, push the brake cooling duct to one side and twist the bulb socket out of the light to get to the bulb. Reverse instructions to install.

under the dash on the drivers side should be the other one... as that is a fiberglass body... check all the grounds on the offending lights to make sure they are making contact

You have to raise the vehicle a little. Remove the front bumper lower closeout panel.Pull the brake caliper cooling duct out of the way and reposition it. Now you can get to the turn signal socket.

Front turn-signal bulb burned out.

It is a tight squeeze, but you can get your arm down past the headlight to the brake cooling duct and pull the brakeduct off the nose of the car back and to the side. Then you can reach through that hole and replace the turn signal blub
