Question about 2005 Porsche 911

My Porsche Cayenne S Key fob no longer unlocks the doors wirelessly but does work on the ignition. I tried unlocking door manually then hitting unlock/lock button of fob and nothing (per the manual) everything else works fine. Then I replaced the battery in the key fob. Still nothing. Any ideas?

How to open 2008 Porsche Cayenne gas tank

If you mean the fuel door... if it is not unlocking make sure the key is on and pull the fuel door button on the driver's side door. Button should be next to the rear hatch button. If it is not releasing check your fuses. If you need fast access remove the carpeted side panel inside of the rear hatch and you will find an emergency release.

Key fob will only open drivers door

As a security precaution only the drivers door will unlock unless you double click the unlock button the keyfob. Your dealer can also change this setting in the OBD. Will it unlock after double clicking?

HI, I have 2006 Porsche Cayenne S and my key doesn't unlock the doors remotey. I changed the battery but still it doesn't work. Please help. thanks

Your going to have to put in the code for the keyless entry. You may be able to find it in the owner manual. If not, you will probably need to call the dealership to get the code.

How do i start a porshe cayenne, its key cant start it

I s your battery dead? do your headlight work? do they dim when you try to start it? Is your alarm turned off. If you have a key fob alarm control is the battery dead in it? Try pushing the lock-unlock button, does it work? press unlock and try it again. Is it in park or is the clutch pedal depressed?
Let me know. Lee

1999 porsche 996 replaced key fob battery disconnected battery now trunk releses are locked and cant access battery. How do you open frt trunk manually

Assuming the car battery is ok (if not, buy a male to male cigarette lighter at the auto store and connect to another car until charged enough to unlock the doors...but don't try to crank the ignition!). The trunks won't open if the battery went dead with the alarm set because arming the alarm physically locks the releases.

Sounds like the key code is switched off because you replaced the key fob battery. Try unlocking the car manual with the key in the door lock. Then switch the ignition on to reactive the keyless entry. If this does not work, you might also try pressing the fob unlock button with the key in the door lock until the dash led flashes.

My Porsche Key fob no longer unlocks the doors

Insert key into door barrel or ignition lock and turn key, whilst doing this press the unlock/lock button, the led on the dash should flash to indicate this has initialised the key to the car, then remove key and test operation of remote. If this fails then a new remote plus coding to the car by your dealership is needed
