2002 Honda civic ex will crank but not start

Sounds like the immobilizer is shutting down the fuel pump. Make sure any ignition/key is programmed to the car. There are issues with the immobilizer in these cars also, so you can visit some Civic forums to read further.

Reset the ignition anti theft on my 2004 dodge stratus

If you are referring to the factory immobilizer, there is no resetting to be done.

The Sentry Key Immobilizer System (SKIS ) is designed to prevent unauthorized vehicle operation. The system consists of a Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM ), ignition key(S) equipped with a transponder chip and PCM. When the ignition switch is turned on, the SKIM interrogates the ignition key. If the ignition key is Valid or Invalid, the SKIM sends a PCI Bus message to the PCM indicating ignition key status. Upon receiving this message the PCM will terminate engine operation, or allow the engine to continue to operate.

For all faults except transponder faults and VTSS LED remains on steady. In the event of a transponder fault the LED flashes at a rate of 1 Hz (once per second). If a fault is present the LED will remain on or flashing for the complete ignition cycle. If a fault is stored in SKIM memory which prevents the system from operating properly, the PCM will allow the engine to start and run (for 2 seconds ) up to six times. After the sixth attempt, the PCM disables the starter relay until the fault is corrected.

My car would not start after putting on new battery. All the lights come on when I turn the key on but when I try to start it I don't even hear a click.

IGNITION COIL sometimes the problem, try replacement products which is way cheaper. also have you checked your sparkplugs? they are only good for 2yrs sometimes not. also check your distributor cap where the sparkplugs cables are connected, and make sure you put it back same place and position. clean and with piece of cloth maybe it is wet or rusty. always disconnect the negative of your battery cable when doing under the hood. fill up your car wd 8 0z of fuel injector cleaner 8 oz. and let yourcar run for few minutes to eliminate carbon deposits cause to clogging. you can pull it out too if you wanted and disconnect the 2 hose and clips before you try to pull out the injector and spray with injector cleaner and leave it for 8 hrs and rinse it wd the same cleaner. The key symbol appears

That's your immobilizer system light:
The Immobilizer System protects your car from theft. A properly coded master or valet key must be used in the ignition switch for the engine to start.
If an improperly coded key (or other device) is used, the engine’s fuel system is disabled.
When you turn the ignition switch to ON (II), the Immobilizer System indicator should come on for a few seconds, then go out. If the indicator starts to blink, it means the system does not recognize the coding of the key. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), remove the key, reinsert it, and turn the switch to ON (II) again.
The system may not recognize your key’s coding if another immobilizer key or other metal object is near the ignition switch when you insert the key. To make sure the system recognizes the key code:
Do not keep other immobilizer keys on the same key ring.
Use a plastic or leather key fob, not metal.
Keep other keys away from your vehicle’s key and the ignition switch while trying to start the engine.
Do not attempt to alter this system or add other devices to it. Electrical problems could result that may make your car undriveable.
This indicator will also blink several times when you turn the ignition switch from ON (II) to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0).
If the system repeatedly does not recognize the coding of your key, contact your Honda dealer.
If you have lost your key and you cannot start the engine, contact your Honda dealer.
Hope this lets you understand the light, and what should be happening.
