I do not know the answer to this problem, however I am in the same boat. My 2000 tacoma prerunner has recently started doing the exact same thing. No noise on accelerate, idle, or when sufficiently warmed up (20 minutes or so after driving). What I do know is that it is Not my brakes as I have relatively new pads (<1 year old) and Not the belt (i had it checked). Because it does not make the noise on idle, this makes it terribly tricky to track it down. So, if anyone can help us solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

2002 jeep liberty stalls when coming to a stop new fuel pump in

Would be a fuel pump issue if stalling at a stop , but runs fine other then stopping . Does it lose power going down the road - highway speed's ? Could be idle air control valve problem , vacuum leak , EGR valve that is carboned up an staying open . Your best bet mite be to take to a qualified repair shop an have a diagnostic scan done .

When accessing a highway from a frontage road access should you begin accelerating as you approach the highway or wait until you are on the highway to incresse speed

Accelerate while on the "on ramp" until you reach the speed limit + posted on the highway... this way when you reach the highway you will be going the same speed(or close) as the other vehicles ..you can blend in easily.. and NOT cause an accident by going too slow!! On the way down the "on ramp".. start looking at the traffic coming on the highway to find an opening to ease into safely. Use your mirrors and BLINKER... (its easier to slow down a little than speed up)

Engine check light on,car starts well but cannot hold idling.can move around provided my foot is on the accelarator, otherwise engine cuts off

This sounds like an issue with idle speed control motor, faulty sensor....i suggest go to autozone and find out what codes the engine has, to be able to narrow it down !!

MY VAN IS OVERHEATING WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR TROUBLESHOOTING

When does it overheat? At idle, or at highway speed? Is the coolant level where it should be? Overheating at idle or highway speed may be a faulty thermostat. If it overheats only at idle then it is likely a cooling fan fault. To determine if the fan is working start the engine and switch the A/C on, the fan should come on, if it does not, then you need to have the computer "scanned" to see if it can detect the reason for the fan not coming on. If the fan is switching on, then you need to have the water pump checked to see if in fact it is pumping coolant (this could also be the cause of overheating at highway speed) If you are overheating only at highway speed you may want to have the enigine checked for a blown head-gasket, or faulty radiator.

Mt truck is making a squeaking noise and it increases as i accelarate. some say its my belt but that is new

where is the noise coming from? universal joints can squeek as they are beginning to seize, and the frequency will increase as you speed up.

1995 Toyota Camary Erratic idle/accelaration from engine

The timing belt is one tooth off. Pull the covers back off, set the engine to TDC and recheck your marks, and make sure that the tension is correct.
