Ticking noise underneath the car approximately midway.

I have a 2006 toyota camry. It makes a continuous ticking noise underneath the car after the car has been turned off for about
5 minutes. TICK , TICK ,TICK,TICK , TICK (fast) Where is this
noise coming from. It is not coming from the engine area. It
sounds like its coming from underneath the car.

The sound you hear is the metal parts of your exhaust system and catalytic converter cooling down. Some cars are louder than others but the sound is perfectly normal.

Low battery warning is built into your alarm. have your battery checked at local parts store such as autozone. The ticking means that you have too low voltage to start vehicle.

Ticking motor

A ticking noise from the engine may be caused by low motor oil level in the engine. You can check the oil yourself or have an oil change shop such as Jiffy Lube look at it for you. If you check it, check with the engine off. If it is low (see owners manual for how to read the dipstick) then add 1/2 quart at a time until a 'full' reading is obtained. It is very important not to overfill the engine oil as this can cause damage to the engine.

Good Luck,

When i turn on the AC it only blows out hot air and something underneath the glvoe compartment makes a ticking noise what could it be?

open the hood and check the sight glass for bubbles with the ac on if there are non then you probably have a hole in the ac system as for the ticking noise it could be something stuck in the blower motor or a bad bearing

I have a 2005 dodge neon sxt, in the morning when I start it up I hear a loud knocking noise from the engine but after about 15 seconds it gets softer but is still there all day when I'm driving around.

It is probably your lifters sticking. Check your engine oil level and if thats fine, then add some oil detergent/additive that says it will "reduce engine knock and free sticky lifters" run with that additive for a couple hundred miles or until the noise gets better. then replce your oil after that without using the additive

depending on what engine, you may have adjustible lifters. aIf it doesn't you may have a lifter bleeding down. you may want to try a bottle of lucas additive your next oil chang.

Ticking Noise at Startup

Possibly a leaking hydraulic lifter. They can leak down while engine isn't running and then make a ticking noise for a while on startup. If it takes 10-15 minutes to go away, it is more likely to be a loose tappet which needs adjusting.
