How do i change the fuel pump on my 88 dodge daytona

All you need to do is put a jack under the tank to hold it up. remove the connector to pump,then remove the fuel line at tank going to pump.caution there may be a little fuel preasure in line, use safety glasses. next is to loosen tank straps, then drop tank a little, remove the lock ring that holds the pump in tank. use a chiesel and hammer. tap ring counter clockwise to loosen. remove the ring and pull pump out if tank needs to be lowered a little more then lower accordingly.tank doesnt need to be removed.
