Replaced the climate control and blower wont work

I replaced the climate control on my 1998 Grand Prix. The heater blower will not come on. Prior to me replacing the climate control the blower worked. The climate control was purchased used. I was told I needed codes for the climate control, but I do not have an owners manual and do not have any codes

F that just put power to the blower moter and see it it runs if you pull the relay jump a wire across the terminals with it out and add a ground wire to the case of the blower to another spot on the chasis if it still does not run your blower switch may be bad dont worry just run a toggle switch to a good blower moter

Heater core and blower is not working but still no heat what is the problem

If you have no heat coming to the heater core, your thermostat may need to be replaced. If the engine does not get hot enough it will not open to let water into heater core. This will keep blower from coming on if you have climate control.(about $10) - check your fuses also - if the blower resister needs to be replaced it will keep blower from coming on. It is on the firewall right behind engine on passenger side ( $45 at auto zone). - If you have climate control the panel may need to be replaced. I would check this last because it is almost $1000 new. Get a replacement at junk yard ( I paid $75)

Heater fan not working - 30 amp HVAC fuse blows out repeatedly when replaced. Where should I look for root cause? Have dash disassembled, but can't see any bare wires anywhere behind radio/climate...

Try unplugging the blower motor, heater control unit and blower motor resistor. Replace the fuse then reconnect the items 1 by 1 and see what pops the fuse.

I have a 2007 pontiac grand prix and my a/c went compleatly out its not blowing out anything why

Either the fan motor is bad, something is jammed in the motor housing, a/c fan relay is bad, or the cluster that controls the climate control is unplugged or bad.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Most likely one of the blend door motors or wiring/ connectors. Check the plugs first. You will most likely need to remove the floor duct work to get to them.

OK, sounds like the vacuum motor system is either disconnected behind the dash, or the vacuum control for the door inside the dash is broken, somehow.

need to take dash and climate controls off to see which it is.

Good luck.

Blower fan only works on high

CHECK THE HVAC CTRL FUSE.

WITH A TEST LIGHT CHECK THE BLOWER RESISTOR FOR POWER ON THE YELLOW, TAN, PURPLE, AND LIGHT BLUE WIRES. THE ORANGE WIRES CONTROL THE HIGH SPEED CIRCUIT. DO THIS FOR EACH POSITION OF THE BLOWER SWITCH.

THE BROWN WIRE ON THE HVAC CONTROL CONNECTOR 1 POSITION B COMES FROM THE HVAC FUSE 20 AMP. NO POWER ON THAT WIRE WILL CAUSE THE BLOWER TO NOT FUNCTION ON THE LOWER SPEEDS.
