Does the rear dome light come on when you open the drivers door? probably not, look at the door light switch on the area at the rear of the door, the switch is on the body of the van, loosen it with a wrench,it will probably come on while you are moving it, but you may need to remove and clean or replace it.

It's a matter of preference...However for the front dome light, You could always unplug it and run wires from the back to the front essentially making an extension cord. Hook the wires up to the back ,run them under the headliner to the rear of the vehicle by the hatch, then run them along the edge on the inside tucking them under the plastic above the windows. When you get to the front door, you can take off the plastic piece at the top of the door and fish them into the center hole and hook them up. Or continue to tuck them under until you get to the center of the wind-shield and fish them through from there.

I was assuming that when you opened the door the only light that came on was the cargo light.

This is a 1st gen caravan and 20 years old. In my experience. The more that's disturbed looking for something that's wrong, the more the tendency to cause problems.

How do I change my rear License plate light bulb on my 1999 Plymouth Voyager minivan.

If it is not possible to take the lens off from the outside. (this is the normal way on most cars) Open the tailgate and remove the whole interior panel. Its not as hard as it sounds. This should allow access.

1990 voyager some time will not turn over battery when you turn key. radio, front & rear wipers, rear gate, also. but ac, window, lights in and out horn, after 1/2 hour or so will start.

Start by removing battery terminals and scraping/cleaning the terminals and connectors thoroughly. Put it back together and try your luck. Some folks like to soak in coca cola since that is all that coke is good for.

Right Turn Signal is "steady" when used, rather than blinking

Bob, you have a bulb burned out somewhere.
Sometimes when this happens you might find all the bulbs are working, but what can happen is the electricity which is supposed to be going to the turn signal element ( the brightest side if there are two elements in the same bulb), is in fact lighting the other element, which is smaller and is supposed to be for the parking lights. The way to tell is by brightness.
Turn on the other side (doing this at night makes it easier to see) that is flashing properly, and go look carefully at the front and rear to determine their brightness.
Now turn on the defective side, and go and look an you should see whether the front or rear is causing the problem. One of the bulbs is either not flashing, or is flashing "weakly."

Left back signal light doesn't work but front one flashes really fast

Check and replace the bulb first before you do anything else.

I have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager. Last week, the rear blower stopped working and the brake lights no longer function. All other lights work. The front blower works just fine. All fuses are...

The rear blower and the brake lights might not be related troble. The rear blower has a ballast resistor that can fail and it's next to the blower motor in the rear heater housing. The blower motors are also known to go bad so wrapping on it with it turned on might( wake it up) and it'll start woring again as a poor connection shaken or the worn motors brushes shaken down where they make connection again. Then you say the rest of the lights work do you mean that the brake light bulbs come on with the hazard swich entergized? or do the rear lights just light yellow turn lights only? I'd check or even replace the brake light buld=bs before I'd do anything else.their are other things that don't work if the fuses were involved and the same goes for the heater rear blower as the front blower uses the same fuse.

1990 acclaim signal and brake lights

You need to check for power & ground at left rear socket, and clean it & contacts in it well, and may have to squeeze socket a bit to supply better ground to outside of bulb base. If that doesn't work, poke wires going into back of socket with test light, with signal on, and if power present, replace the socket assy. About $5.00
