05 Sebring heats up only when pushing gas or driving

Hello, when i turn on my 05 sebring in the morning, it wont heat up until i start to drive it, but when i get to a stop light it starts to blow cold air again until i move again, i have replaced the Thermostat and also the cooling is fine, my motor does not het hot it stays at normal temperature it's just the heating system that some times heats and sometimes it doesn't.

Check your Transmission Fluid (ATF) level. There should be instructions in the Owner's Manual or search (Google) online.

Sounds like you damaged the engine by running it without oil. Sorry but you probably need a new engine.

Heating problems

replace the heating core but change the antifreeze first and clean the system and make sure there's no stop leak in the hoses. you will need to flush the heater core out completely several times to know for sure.

Usually the ignition module heats up to a point and faults out, after it cools back down the component will work again until it heats back up to a certain temp.
