This is the diagram for the 4.6 1998 Ford Expedition.( Notice the numbers 1-2-3-4 spark plugs are on the left side if you are facing the front of the vehicle.) Please rate my answer if you were helped.
Thanks
Hi, the diagrams are included in the owner's manual starting on page 129. You can download one here: https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp
The lighter fuse is in the inside panel (by the brake pedal, fuse #3), and the others are in the box under the hood (#10 and 11).
most fuse box covers has underneath them the covers the fuse diagrams in them but also if you have a manual for your car that it should show you there as well. You can go to autozone to buy real cheap the manual that shows all your fuses to the car.
The tag lights run off the same circuit as the tail lights, if you have tail lights, and the only light out is the tag light, it's the bulb.
If no tail lights also, check the fuse for the tail lights.
Did you guys ever solve the issue with your trailer wiring? I have a 2000 Expedition with only one brake light on three different trailers no other lights work. They were working fine and the work fine on other vehicles. I know it could be anything but I'm not sure if it's a known issue that the plug by the rear wheel back to the adapter gets bad or if there is a typical issue that lies elsewhere. I'm just trying to find where to start????

on the bottom of the running board there is a flap with a phillips head screw in it that covers the bulb socket. just remove the screw and turn the buld socket to remove bulb and replace with the new bulb
