How to refill oil in transmission for Dodge caravan 1995 (automatic transmission)?

Could be a pump issue, low oil, dirty oil etc etc etc

Hi whining can be caused by a great number of things , oil filter , automatic transmission, power steering , alternator bearings , waterpump, drive belts and many other moving parts on the engine and transmission pay attention to the tentioner of the fanbelts and related freewheels.

I'm guessing it's a automatic. It is probably a transmission problem. Check your transmission fluid level. It might be leaking. If it's low just refill it and you will be good to go. keep an eye on the level. You will kill your transmission if you let it run with low fluid for too long.

Is engine oil normal?

Most automatic transmissions will have a cooler that is in the radiator. Some will also have an external cooler (really common on vehicles with a towing package). It is really common for the cooler hoses to leak on the caravans. Make sure you are using ATF+4 for trans fluid. No other transmission fluid should be used in a chrysler!

It is about time to replace your transmission or have it rebuilt

You may be able to squeak a little more use out of it if you use some lucas transmission additive.
This is only a bandaid and may not work either.

Used transmissions for these are $150-300.00 and shouldn't cost more than $300 or so to have someone install it.
