Well I assume that by now, 24 days later you probably have the timing cover changed, but if you don't here's a link, scroll about halfway down to get to the pictures. There's a few hours of work and as long as you've gone as far as to tear the whole front of the motor off the car, you may as well change the timing assembly and water pump. I had the shop change mine, it cost me $700.00 but it was worth it. here you go:
Well as of 2005 or so the v6 tribute has a Ford motor that has a timing chain not a belt the 4 cylinder has a Mazda motor that has a belt and should be changed every 90000 miles. So those swing the v 6 has a belt are totally wrong here
Timing belt is rated for 85,000 to 95,000 miles.
You do not want to wait for it to break.
Today's timing belt is being use to drive water pump.
3.2 Liter MPI V6 is modular.
The engine has to come out from the bottom!!!!
It will save you 2-3 hours of labor time to do ALL these work at the same time.

Ask your service advisor to replace all heater hose at the same time to avoid trouble.
Inspect all engine and transmission mounts.
This is going to be costly but it will safe the labor charge now to complete all the tasks at the same time.
