After the oil was changed on my 2005 Dodge Van, the oil service light keeps coming on. If I turn the van off and restart it, the light goes out and stays out until I restart it again. I had the oil changed again and the light still comes on. I had taken it to an oil service company and the person who changed the oil, looked under the dash on the driver's side and said there wasn't a reset button. How do I reset the oil service light?

First... Read your owners manual - page 226 - Turn the ingnition switch to ON (do not start) and fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds and then turn the ignition switch to OFF position.
Good luck and keep me posted.

Unplug the batt and while unplugged turn on headlights to drain power out of computer. leave unplugged for one or more min. if this doesn't work you could have a bad pressure censer.

Cant adjust electronic seat and turn signals went out

Everything that is electronic on ur van is connected and if one goes down it takes the rest with them. I have worked in service at dodge for 13 yrs and I know there is only 2 options for what u are describing. The circuit board behind the speedometer or the heater assembly. Unplug them one at a time and everything that doesn't work now will come back on when u unplug bad one

Check engine light comes on, but computer shows no problem?

Do not shut off the Van and check the lights.... Did you have your Transmission serviced lately? Common problem with this transmission.

Your problem could quite possibly be an internal issue with PCM/ECU

Oil light comes on goes out when I step on gas then when I let goe of gas pedal light and dinging sound comes on and just keeps going.I have had a oil change done and keep checking oil and it is full

If the van is running normally otherwise then it may be a bad oil pressure sensor or more likely an idle control sensor. This could potentially be a DIY (trial and error) for someone comfortable with working on cars, but I would take it to a shop ( or a dealer that youn trust) and tell them to check out the sensors. Good luck!

My 2005 Odessay Touring van has a VSA light that has gone on about ten times today. Each time I have to turn off the ignition and turn it back on in order to make it go official. However only once did the...

Thanks for the info... that fixed the problem with the VSA light going on. The error code had nothing to do with the VSA system. Error code said I was low on oil. The dealer I brought it to said the VSA system will not work when you are low on oil. When the VSA warning light comes on, you loose 80% of your engine power because of it. They changed the oil and I have not had the VSA warning light go on since.

Engine issues

You would have to repeat the problem with the scanner hooked up and someone who knows what he's doing watching it. If the check engine light came on then a code will be stored.
