1993 park avenue idles high after warming up for a bit, the car has been sitting for a little more than a year and now that winter is almost over I started it for the first time in 4 months. Fired right up and idled normally for about 3 minutes and then went to high idle and won't kick off when accelerator is depressed.

1993 Park Avenue-trunk will latch but not close tight. Several years ago had motor disconnected so you just slam truck and not worry. Now the metal latch-catch is up high and trunk will not shut tight. ...

Find another 91-95 Park Avenue at your local salvage yard...or call on line or contact to reach on-line salvage yards...you can purchase just the latch...(as you know it is designed to be an automatic pull-down...This is an easy switch out...the latch will be $20-45. I have one at home:) Hope this helps.

1994 buick park avenue, idling up and will not idle down

If it's not sticking throttle linkage, and i assume it isn't because you have an engine light on, it's probably a faulty idle control sensor. You can get one at any parts store, and they aren't hard to remove and replace. The parts guy can show you exactly where it is on his screen.

1992 buick park avenue divetrain problem

With your transmission warm and your car running. Check your fluid level. With that amount of Km, it most likely needs serviced and the bands tighten. There are some additives on the market that will give you a little longer life. You may want to try some of them.
