I have a 2006 jeep liberty and my cigarette lighter went out. i doesnt not work at all. how do i find a replacement and how do i install it?

Its probably not the lighter itself, it's probably lost power. check the fuse for the cig lighter and see if blown. if it is, replace. if it blows immediately you have a dead short. if not, pay attention to when it stops working. could be a problem with whatever you are plugging in, or something else on the circuit

If you are plugging accessories into it, it is more likely the plug not gripping in the socket. If it is the removable cigarette lighter itself, get a new on one on eBay.

It looks like it is a known issue! Video says quick repair, but he is just replacing the fuse :>D

My info just said jeep liberty. Hope you can read it. Instrument panel power outlet. In the diagram, the top wire is voltage, the bottom wire is ground.

2006 Jeep Wrangler cigarette lighter not working

Check for un-isulated connection on the hot wire lead. It might have been after-market but on mine the connection would short out, blowing a fuse. 1 inch of heat shrink tube fixed the problem.
