My indicators don't want to work they were working perfectly a few days back but now when i switch them on they don't work

Check the dimmer control on the headlight switch

headlight relay or switch

check wiper relay

did you replace the dimmer switch on the dash by the headlight switch

sounds like you had the "new kid" working on your car. its hard to find good help these days. the service adviser should have had his better technicians look at it after the first numb skull laid hands on it. as far as the lighting problems i would say it sounds like a blown fuse or an unplugged light connector. you should have your ford dealer check it out and see if it looks like something has been tampered with. good luck. and try firestone complete autocare next time. usually better managed. usually.

I am pretty sure it is the body control module. My 02 sable is currently having a similar issue. On a random day my girlfriend took the car to the store, the car started honking when she went to re-enter the vehicle. never done that before. Later that night the left front turn signal will not shut off. the turn signal light on the dash stays on solid, this morning the bright light indicator was on solid and the turn signals worked perfectly fine until the blinker light eventually went back to on all the time. I disconnect the battery at night or if I am not going to drive it for a few hours. But I am 99% certain it is the BCM causing this.

Hazard warning light switch fault.
The hazard light warning button in the middle of your dash is actually a relay that often fails, causing this problem. New switch required.

I suspect the ignition switch is malfunctioning.

Hi, This was the perfect solution to my problem!!! I go to my 01 Honda Civic a few days ago and my power locks weren't working ,my a/c wasn't blowing cold,my dome light wasn't coming on, and my brake indicator light wasn't going off. My husband spent half the night trying to figure out the problem, then we get on the internet and found this site ,so helpful. We called Honda the next day and ordered the multiplex control fuse box that goes under the steering column through my husband's work, it cost $120.00 wholesale and put it in the next day,problem solved!!!!
