The knock sensor is located in the V of the V6.It resides under the plastic covering the intake manifold and there is only one sensor. Its deep towards the bottom of the V.

The knock sensor is part #8 on the diagram. seems to be inside the engie. call your acura dealer to verify. if it is, it's a lot of work.

SOURCE: location of knock sensor 3.2 1996 acura tl

remove the intake manifold ,remove radiator ,remove radiator intake and outake housing, remove fan ,remove all belts: power steering, alternator and if you have a/c, remove harmonic balancer ,remove timing belt covers, remove timing belt remove intake housinng once you have remove all the above, your freaken engine will look naked, you can see the location of the knock sensor is locate in the engine valley

Acura TL 2004, code: P0325 knock sensor1 (bank1) circuit malfunction, please help. thanks...

9 times out of 10 it is a faulty sensor. if you have the 4 cylinder engine, v-tech? it will be located on the back of the block next to the oil filter. if you have the V6 it will be under the intake manifold.you can test the knock sensor with a dvm. set your mter on continuity, hook your leeds to the single pin conector and the side of the sensor, you should have a resistance reading.now lightly tap on the side of the sensor with a small screw driver. if the resistance changes the sensor is good
