96 Taurus wipers will only work on high when

My 96 ford taurus's wipers won't spray at any speed but high. Why? Are there any tests I can do? The left drivers side seems like it may be clogged because it only sprays a tiny bit and not at full pressure. How can I clean it? Also can I hardwire my Garmin gps so that it turns on and off with the car? Is there a good diagram for this?

This happened to mine this summer...the tubes were cracked and needed to be replaced, luckily my father is handy and was able to pick up the tubes at an auto parts store and had them installed in under half an hour.

SOURCE: 2000 ford taurus driver power window not working

should be a fuse in engine compartment drivers side black box and there will be fuses for each sep. window.chech the fuse-under box cover the fuses are labled.if fuse good may have bad switch-check <remove switch from panel after removing panel.check with key on for power at switch if power is good press switch chech power on motor by removing wire connector and test with light/meter at connector.if power good motor bad>hint motors are interchangable so you can use rear drivers motor for example before you buy anouther motor.i have 4 good ones if you need :-> [email protected]

1988 ford taurus wagon chimes everytime i go 45+ mph and the speed light flashes... what's wrong?

You probably have the speed reminder set to 45mph. It chimes & flashes to let you know you are speeding. It will tell you how to adjust it in your owners manual. If you don't like it set it high eg: 100mph. then it won't happen.

My 1999 Ford Taurus wipers only work on High and the washer pump works but no wipers. What could be the problem? I have read 4 things: Motor, Wires, Switch, or a GEM?

Well, it wouldnt be the motor if it works on high, if it was the motor it would not work at all. Wires are good because there is power getting to the motor. Most likely cause is the wiper switch. Thats the control for voltage flow to the wiper motor.

1988 Ford Taurus Turn Signals do not work

Yes, it certainly could be the switches in the windshield wiper stalk off of the steering column.
From day one, my (used 14K) 93 Taurus turn signals worked in some positions of the wiper speed and not in other positions of the wiper speed. Fortunately, they always work when the windshield wipers are off.
