Hyundai xg300 engine dies when cold and sputters

Hyundai xg300 - On cold start engine sputters and dies below 2000 rpm. It hesitates around 4000 rpm when warm.

Have replaced MAF, Plugs, Ignition cables and computer with very little improvement. Also it works better with the MAF disconnected.

Thanks for any help!

If you were driving a voyager I'd suspect the fuel pump is starting to fail.

How do I clean carburetor on 2001 Hyundai XG300???

Well you have fuel injectors instead of a carb.
I would check fuel pressure first. And if the check engine light is on, check the engine computer for trouble codes too.

Go to www.hmaservice.com and register your vehicle by VIN #..
you'll then have access to wiring diagrams, shop manuals,
service bulletins, illustrations, etc. To diagnose a 2000 or 2001 1.5L Accent Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1128 (FUEL SYSTEM LEAN -- PART LOAD), check the following:
  • Check the intake system for air leaks.
  • Check that the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (P/N 28164-22610) operation meets the specifications listed below. If the MAF sensor output is significantly lower than the reference value (10% or more), then replace the MAF sensor.

Starts cold when warm shuts off

May be the fuel pump, experienced similar problems in 1995 Intrepid. When the pump warmed up, it would start to loose pressure and car would sputter and die, but would start back up. If it started it would usually begin sputtering again and eventually die.

My car is xg300 Hyundai the code showing up are p01191 &p1193 , p0136, p0141 what are they will it cost me

Electronic Throttle System codes (P1191 & 1193), Limp Home mode & Low RPM (Detected RPM below 470). This is usually cause by either a sticking throttle plate or an intake air hose leak.

P0136 - O2 Sensor Malfunction (Bank 1, sensor 2), P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2). Either the sensor is broken, it's been unplugged, or the wiring has been damaged.
