I don't have a diagram of where the starter is located but's easy to find. It's located above the frame between the radiator and the engine block. its bolted to the engine block just above the frame. It has two bolts holding iit in place. You will need a 15mm socket and extension to remove the bolts. There is a 13 mm nut that holds the battery cable to the starter. Than there is a smaller wire that is held into place with an8mm nut. There is also a plastic cover that is attached to the transmission that can be removed with a 10mm socket. Infact you will have to remove this cover first before trying to remove the 15mm bolts. oh yeah make sure you jack the car up so you can see everything from underneath. use jack stands.

Is the 99 grand prix 3800 supercharged motor and transmission compatible with the 2004 monte carlo intimidator as with a 3800 supercharged?

Yes and no, the engine is compatible. You will need to swap sensors and brackets, but the engine itself is the same. The trans is a different series though. Different computer and controls. Would not be a direct replacement.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix gt 3800 v6 that is not supercharged.i got to get a new engine.will a supercharged 3800 v6 hook up to my none supercharged engine

The engines are the same dimensions and use the same mounts, but the wiring and sensors are a bit different and you need the computer and gauge cluster out of the supercharged car.

I need to locate the camshaft sensor on a 3800 series ii V6

Here is a link with a diagram about half way down the page that points out the sensor as number 8. It looks like it should be near the oil filter just up and over a bit. There is some good info on this page to that may help. Good luck! Have a great day!

What engines will fit a 1998 grand prix

You will only be able to fit a 3800 engine in this car. If you would really want to swap a different motor a 3800 superchanged L67 engine will fit but you will need a heavy duty tranny from the 3800 motor and you will also need a wireharness injectors and harness and also a PCM. You can find these motors for a pretty cheap price on moradparts from ebay. They also have their own website. Very very good place to buy used W body GM parts
