4.4 02 Range Rover.Blower only functions

2002 4.4 Range Rover. A/C Blower only functions occasionally. Re-gassing didnt help .Fuses checked and ok. When blower not working then front windscreen heater doesnt work either.When switched on, all lights function but no action! When blower decides to work its perfect. Car 28000 miles and otherwise perfect.

It seems most likely it's the Control Panel faulty as this unit is has a common fault

Blower resistor pack is probably bad. This pack is what gives you various speeds for the fan.

Check for 12 volt at the blower motor, if it's there, once you turn your blower and ignition on and motor doesn't work, you have a bad motor. If it's not there, check your fuses, blower switch and blower resistor pack.

My blower motor is not comming on at all even after i replaced it i have p38 1998 .
Have you checked your blower motor resistor and the common reason that the motor or resistor fails is due to a clogged cabin air filter. Hope this helps !

The Central locking might needs to be reprogrammed as it might be went into Transportation mode but the Ft. Wipers might be the column switch...these causes due to long time Vehicle being parked without usage
