The power windows on your vehicle are controlled by an electronic control module , as are the power mirrors !
Power Window System Components
The power window system consists of the following components:
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Passenger door module (PDM)
• Body control module (BCM)
• LR power window switch
• RR power window switch
• Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches
• Window lockout switch
• Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)
• LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)
• RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)
Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.
has the vehicle been in an accident around the drivers door A pillar? Sounds like there are some wiring issues inside of the harness or connector that goes from the body to the door.
in most cases if the turn signal works on the right side and not the left its a bulb bad . if the left side just comes on and does not blink ,look at front and rear and see which one is not lit up. the one that is not lit is the bad bulb.as for the window i see more bad window lift motors bad than anything. turn the key on and slam the door hard while holding the button down, sometimes this works it did on my 99 ford f150 window.
You have the wires connected to the wrong switches. Just reverse the wires with the door panel off until the correct switch operates the correct window. Also, the entire switch for each window on the driver's side could have been put in the wrong place on the switch pad even if they are correctly wired.
if window wont work with either switch the 1 on the drivers main switch or the one on rear door it may just be stuck on weather stripping and may need help down with door open have someone press switch and w/ door open put hand on inside and out of glass pushing down if it starts working agian spray weather strip with silicone spray if it does not work need to test motor to see if its getting batt voltage if not its switch if it is u need new motor
ok do you have one good switch for the pass front and both rears.....in other words do you have at least one of those 3 windows that work normal????if you do remove that switch and connect it to the other windows and check for normality in operation...if it works fine at the switch then the new switch you have is faulty
try replacing the master switch it maybe malfunctioning due to wear.or may have shorted out by getting wet or something.since it is the primary control for all windows and power door locks.
The rear window has to be completely down in order to move the tailgate! You should be happy that your window is stuck up, unlike mine which is stuck all the way down! I have to completly take apart my tailgate!! If you want to try a trick to get the rear window down, my bronco has a rear window switch right next to the headlight knob, take the 2 purple wires on that window switch, and cross them, if your motor still works and if the wires are good, that should make the window go down!!! good luck, hope that helps!
