05 Renault Grand Scenic. No dipped headlights. Bulbs and fuses OK

05 Renault Grand Scenic. One dipped headlight went out, then the other two days later. Local garage says bulbs and fuses are all OK and suggests taking it to a Renault dealer. ''Might be the switch'' they said, yet dashboard dipped beam indicator light stills comes on. Any thoughts?

Hi, the headlight stay on even when the car is off and locked. the only way not waist the battery was to disconnect the headlights temporary. no problems with the fuse and rely is fine. is it could be the computer system? should I take it to Renault dealer or some garages might fix the problem?
    Thanks a lot.

Are u sure that the bulbs are OK? I had no dipped lights on mine, & thought it must be a fuse or another electrical fault. It turned out, both bulbs had gone. I think this often happens when one side goes, the other soon follows.

Renault Grand Espace 2008 dipped headlights not working have checked relay, fuse, bulbs & stalk and found no problem. Where can I check from here ?

Check the actual wiring. Using a multimeter set to DC volts to check at the bulb holder for power. You need about 12 volts at the bulb. If no power, work back from there towards the fuse box then to the dashboard connectors.

check fuse first .
if this is ok then check both bulbs ,depending on make and model these are normally twist and pull the holder from back of headlight.
the bulbs might be fine it could just be bad connection at the holder.

No dipped beam headlights on audi a4 1,9td 2003

Check up dipped beam headlights fuse inside fuse box. For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. If the dipped beam headlights fuse is OK, check up dipped beam headlights bulbs.
