If your car has oil cooling lines, what happens is expanding in heat, no leak, contracting, getting smaller, in cold, seal do not seal properly, and then leaks occur.

What type of oil does my 2005 A6 Audi 3.2 Quattro use?

it doesn't matter what brand you use, just make sure you use the motor weight on the cap (don't use Pennzoil)

I am planning to buy 2002 AUDI A6 3.0L QUATTRO, 63K miles. The onwer only changed oil at the recommended time. Does it need anything at 60K. Any problem could be foreseen.

If it has a cam belt then change it.if it runs with a timeing chain leave it till about120k miles.Good car if serviced at recommended times

Oil questions for 2003 Audi A6 Quattro

oil type is either 5W-30W or 10W-30W depending how cold your climate is, as far as having the car properly taken care of, the Audi dealer is the best option, they have all the proper tools and service info needed to keep the car in top running condition.
