Clean out under the front cowl.there are drains that come out of the firewall.probably plugged up.the water backs up and runs down through the blower motor.

I have a 1991 chevy lumina euro and recently while raining the passenger side front and rear carpet is getting wet, can't find where the water is coming from. All window seals are fine. Any idea why?

possible that the water is getting into the car from a failed membrane that seals all the openings under the door trim and /or the drain holes at the bottom of the doors are blocked
fix is to clean out the drain holes and remove the door trim and reseal the plastic back around all the openings in the inner door frame

Car leaking

are the doors wet or just the floors?
most likely its the door seals, cracked or broken or just plain old and stiff
could also be window seals
check the seals around the windows and open the door and check the door seals

2004 rear drivers floor board is wet

Sounds like the door gasket or trunk gasket is not sealing.
You may have to take it to a body shop to find the problem.

I have water on the passenger Floor. I have ExactMats on them that cover the stock mats and they had water standing on them. About 10 cc. I don't see anyware that it might be dripping. the floor is wet...

1. If you have had the windscreen replaced at any time then water can enter through poor re- sealing work at the base of the glass and will find it's way to the floor behind the interior trim panels.

2. Check the rubber seals around the door and around the body work for the door aperture. Water can enter at the bottom of the door and run over the sill scuff plates on to the floor. (Have there been accident repairs to the door?) Also check that the door is sitting correctly in the closed position.

3. Remove the interior trim on the door and check that the plastic liner between the steel door and interior trim is in tact.( It might be advisable to have an experienced person do this for you.) If the liner is loose rather than sealed to the door panel, water build up from inside the door with heavy rain will run past the door trim and on to the floor.

Check the drain holes in the bottom of the doors and make sure that none are blocked or partially blocked up. Otherwise water will build up inside the door panel.

A heavy down pour of rain will test water sealing in any car. I suggest you test for water entry by running a hose for a few minutes over specific areas on the windscreen, on the door glass and around the door perimeter. Have someone sit in the car while you do this to watch for water entry. Test one area at a time and keep water off the area you are not testing as much as possible.

Test 1. The windscreen

Test 2 Run water over the door glass and some will run into the door.

Test 3 Run water around the full perimeter of the door (right on the panel gaps).

I have water leaking on the right rear floor passenger side

Sounds to me like your issue is with condensation from your air conditioner. The condensation isn't properly draining, probably from a damaged or clogged drain hose.

Water

Since is should not be the heater core,(and coolant - since you don't mention losing any) it is probably either the door seal or the winsdshield seal that is leaking. And I assume that the floorboards are not rusted out either. You can take a hose with water, (and the floor boards dry) and run some water on the windshield, and around door opening and glass to check. If the winshield has been changed, and it leaks, it can be sealed without removing the glass with windshield sealer or the commercial windshield adhesive, which is what I use to repair one that didn't get enough adhesive the first time. If the leak is around the door, you will need the get the seal from the dealer or have it changed at the mechanics shop. I use the proper adhesive on these. Hope this helps. Rick

There is a water leak somewhere in my 98 toyota camry that leaks into my passenger side floor. There is no sun roof and no visible leaks from the windows or doors. Any thoughts? A/C leak maybe? water...

I am the original owner of camry xle 1998 with wet floors. In 2000 I had drivers side door seal leaking at welt. Removed old door seal and new weather strip on drivers side installed. The door panel was never wet, but wet at bottom of door where there are drain holes...slowly leaking under carpet.
In 2001 later water again. Coming from overflowing A/C evaporator-drain plugged/ tank full of debris. Removed evaporator, cleaned + drain cleaned.
In 2003, driver door seal against window rotted. Removed door panel and found leak at window belt molding at the mirror joint inside + out. Lots of mold under carpet needed to replace! Made a fuss at dealers for reacurring problem and they replaced the carpet for free.
