Question about 1998 Saturn SL
What can cause a 98 Saturn SL2 to have problems revving up to 3,000 rpms in P or N (and then returns to normal 1200 or so after 5 seconds), and also it ''slams'' into R on occasion. What I mean by slam is it will stall a few seconds, then it jerks into gear, but it only does this sometimes.
Check the air mass sensor, clean it with carb cleaner and then refit if you need info on how to do this let me know. the clunk into gear is only because the car is stalling most likely.
Let me know if you need more info?
