Check engine light came on ,also vsc off and vsc trac also what does this mean .
Could be alot differnet things u need to take it some where to have codes scaned on it more than likely it a bad speed sensor but cant tell for sure until codes are scaned

that the check engine light is on indicates a problem. that the light is not flashing indicates that the computer does not think that the problem is all that bad. without some other vehicle malfunction symptoms best advice i can give you is to take your vehicle to a place that has a code reader and see what codes it has stored. some car parts stores will retrieve the codes for free, idea being that the parts store can then sell you some parts to fix the problem. but you don't have to buy anything, you can just have them read the codes. some of the parts stores will give you a printout of the codes too. get the codes and you know what the computer is not liking, then you can make a more informed decision about what to do next. hope that helps.

to reset for a momentany malfuntion,disconnect the negative battery terminal few minutes, reconnect,start engine and drive to check

It is not hard to change the sensor, it just screws into a threaded hole. The light will not go out immeditaly, after the sensor is replaced. It needs to go thru a drive cycle. Your best bet is to replace the sensor and get the code cleard by whoever scanned it for the 0031 code.

i did take it to toyota dealer and they said code was p04 i think which they determined was the catalytic
converter.
