What are the locations of the Remote Control Door Lock Receivers RCDLR in a 2015 Malibu?

According to GM there are 3 components in the RCDLR or RKE remote keyless entry system. My key fobs with new batteries only work standing right next to the car. The range of the key fob dropped at that the same time my TPMS tire pressure monitoring system repair warning came on my dashboard. The problem is that there are 4 different components on the 2015 Malibu. I will provide the GM part numbers for these, if you please tell me where they are and also how to replace them: #13583559 Remote Control Door Lock Receiver #13502554 Antenna #13502551 Ignition Lock Key Transmitter Antenna #13502549 Low Frequency Console Antenna

How to disable a car alarm on a G6 pontiac 2008

Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) Description and Operation When armed, the content theft deterrent (CTD) system is designed to deter vehicle content theft by pulsing the horns and exterior lamps for approximately 30 seconds when an unauthorized vehicle entry is detected. However, the CTD system does not affect engine starting.
An unauthorized entry can be any of the following with the CTD system armed:
• When any door is opened without first being unlocked using the UNLOCK command from the keyless entry transmitter
• Unauthorized entry into the underhood area (if equipped)
• Unauthorized entry into the rear compartment
• After a battery reconnect, if the battery was disconnected with the CTD system armed
The components of the CTD system are:
• Body Control Module (BCM)
• Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR)
• Security indicator
• Door ajar switches
• Rear compartment lid ajar switch
• Hood ajar switch (if equipped)

Arming the CTD System
Use the following procedure in order to arm the system:
Place the shift lever in P (park).
Turn OFF the ignition.
Open any door.
Important: The system is not armed if the doors are locked manually; the remote keyless entry transmitter must be used to arm the content theft deterrent (CTD) system.
Lock the doors using the LOCK button on the transmitter. The system is in standby mode and will not start the arming timer until all doors are closed.
The system will begin the arm sequence immediately after the last door is closed. If the keyless entry transmitter is used to arm the system after the vehicle doors are closed, the arm sequence will begin as soon as the LOCK command is received by the transmitter.
Locking the Vehicle Without Arming the CTD System
Locking the vehicle may be accomplished without arming the content theft deterrent (CTD) system. Use of the manual door locks or using the key to lock the doors will lock the vehicle, but will not arm the CTD system.
Disarming an Armed System/Silencing an Alarm
If system arming has been requested by the keyless entry transmitter, it must be disarmed.
Important: Using the power door unlock switch or manually unlocking the doors does not disable the content theft deterrent (CTD) arm mode. Also, disconnecting the battery or pulling fuses does not disable the arm mode, since the BCM stores the CTD mode status in memory.
• To disarm the CTD system in standby mode, perform one of the following:
- Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.
- Insert a valid key into the ignition and switch to the ON position.
• To disarm the CTD system in the armed mode (non-event) or when activated (during an alarm event):
Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

Keyless Entry System Description and Operation (with Accessory 2 Way Remote)
Keyless Entry System Description and Operation (without Accessory 2 Way remote)

The keyless entry system is a vehicle entry device. The keyless entry system is used in conjunction with the body control module (BCM) to remotely activate certain vehicle features. Keyless entry will lock/unlock the doors/liftgate when a corresponding button on the keyless entry transmitter is pressed. This is accomplished by the transmitter sending a radio frequency to the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR). The RCDLR interprets the signal and activates the requested function via a serial data message to the BCM. A low transmitter or vehicle battery or radio frequency (RF) interference from aftermarket devices, such as 2-way radios, power inverters, computers, etc., may cause a system malfunction. High RF traffic areas may also cause interference that could lead to a malfunction. Keyless entry allows you to operate the following components:
• Door locks
• Liftgate lock
• Vehicle locator/Panic alarm
• Illuminated entry lamps
• Remote vehicle start
The keyless entry system has the following components:
• Keyless entry transmitters
• Keyless entry antenna
• 2 Way Advanced Remote Start RCDLR
• BCM

Your best bet , take it to a GM dealer .

Car won't start.Theft light blinks, clicking sound under hood and thumping like horn wants to go off.Seems like it's stuck in anti theft mode

anti theft light should blink every few seconds.

try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes.

Anti-Theft-Perimeter The perimeter anti-theft system consists of the following components:
  • anti-theft indicator (THEFT)
  • remote anti-theft personality (RAP) module
  • hood switch
  • keyless entry remote transmitter
  • deck lid ajar switch
NOTE: The remote entry features will not function when the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACC position.
Up to four keyless entry remote transmitters (15K601) can be programmed at one time.
The keyless entry remote transmitters :
  • Are programmable.
  • Must be set at the same time.
  • House four buttons.
  • House three buttons (Mexico Anti-Theft System only).
Programming
Refer to Section 501-14B.
Inputs and Outputs
The remote anti-theft personality (RAP) module receives input from the following components for anti-theft operation:
  • Hood switch.
  • Deck lid ajar switch.
  • Keyless entry remote transmitter.
  • Power door lock switches (LH and RH).
  • Door courtesy input.
The RAP module distributes output to the following for the anti-theft system:
  • Power door unlock relay.
  • Power door lock relay.
  • Liftgate unlock relay (Wagon)
  • Park lamps relay.
  • HORN relay.
  • Dome lamp.
  • THEFT indicator.
  • Deck lid release.
Arming
The anti-theft system can be armed if:
  • The ignition switch is in the OFF position.
  • The panic alarm is off.
  • All doors are closed.
NOTE: If a door is open, the anti-theft system is prearmed and waiting for all the doors to be closed. The THEFT indicator will remain illuminated for up to 30 minutes waiting for all the doors to be closed. If a door remains open after 30 minutes, the THEFT indicator will turn off and the system will return to a disarmed state. After all doors are closed and the 30 second prearm (continuous THEFT indicator illumination) is complete, the system is armed.
NOTE: If the theft LED does not flash after 30 seconds, check the LED FLASH PID to see if the feature is enabled.
The anti-theft system will be armed when the lock button on the keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed, all doors are closed and 30 seconds have elapsed.
When the system is armed, the THEFT indicator will flash quickly until the system is triggered or disarmed.
Disarming
NOTE: Using a key in a door lock cylinder to unlock is not a valid method of disarming the anti-theft system.
Untriggered System
NOTE: If the driver arms the system and remains in the vehicle, an untriggered system can be disarmed by turning the ignition switch to the ON position.
An untriggered alarm system can be disarmed by pressing the unlock button on the keyless entry remote transmitter.
Triggered System
NOTE: If the hood or trunk are open when the system is armed, it must be closed and opened again before it can trigger an alarm.
An armed anti-theft system can be triggered by the following conditions:
The deck lid door, liftgate, hood or any door is opened using a key, inside door handle, hood release, etc.
  • The keyless entry remote transmitter can activate a panic alarm which is similar to the anti-theft alarm, but does not cause the THEFT indicator to flash.
A triggered alarm system can be disarmed by:
  • Pressing the unlock or panic button on the keyless entry remote transmitter.
  • Turning the ignition switch to the ON position.
Alarm State When Battery Power Is Cycled
When the RAP module is supplied power the first time at the vehicle assembly plant, the system will be in the disarmed state. The RAP module will remember whether it is armed, disarmed or triggered in its non-volatile memory. When the battery positive cable is removed and then reconnected, the system will return to the state it was in just before the battery was disconnected. If the system is in any prearm state, then the system will return to a disarmed state when the battery is disconnected and then reconnected.

1996 chevy corvette passive keyless entry light stuck on

This is an indication the passive reciever has been set to off. Press and hold the door button on the hand held passive remote for 2 seconds the door locks should cycle locked then unlocked. The passive indicator should go out and the system should see the remote when you walk away from the car (dors lock, horn blows). If nothing happens test the hatch button (if you ha a coupe) to see that the remote battery is good.
