My 96 grand Cherokee bcm screen in flashing and I dont know why

If you disconnected the battery then you'll need to reset the clock. Once the clock is set it should stop flashing. Other things that will reset the BCM and cause it to flash like that is an error such as a broken latch or faulty sensor that's tied to the BCM. Hope this helps.

not a cheokee fan but i thik their was some changes made to the 98 model not sure but id go back with the part and ask it dosent sound as if it is the right part for the car hope i have helped you

the info center was not working in my 96 jeep when i got it. it serves no major purpose other than a clock and to let you know when your doors are open. i replaced mine the part itself can be found at junkyards fairly cheap. i paid $65 for mine. and now i wish i had left it alone. constant annoyances and chimes.
