I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with a V8 engine, and a couple of months ago I noticed that oil was leaking from the front of the vehicle. Then during the past week, every morning I've heard a low grinding noise coming from the front of the vehicle and the oil gauge would be low and slowly build up as I would drive and stops at the middle of the gauge. Then last night, as we were driving the grinding noise would get louder as we press on the gas. We checked the oil and it was very low on oil, we put like 3 or 4 quarts and it was still doing the same thing. The last time the oil was changed was Oct 2009. I hope there is an easy solution to this big problem!

Wow,
I think we have determined if the "oil" you saw as engine oil, yes I would say it was.
Sorry no easy solution. You may have a main crank shaft seal leaking, a engine oil coolant line, or a manifold gasket leak.
As far as the "grinding" noise I would like more detail. An engine that is very low on oil will sound more like a diesel... knocka knocka knocka.
Unless you are an experianced tech, I would take to a reliable auto center.

Remove front Rotors

To remove the front rotors, you first need to support the vehicle with a jack stand. Then remove the wheel.
Once the wheel is out of the way you need to take the two bolts off of the backside of the caliper, then compress the caliper and lift it off of the rotor.
Now you should be able to easily remove the rotor from the Jeep.

Oil leaks from oil pressure sending unit on my 1994 jeep grand cherokee limited v8 5.2 liter

Replace it immediately the leak will only get worse. On some, you may need a sending unit socket, unless it has flat sides that will work with a wrench. Wrap the thread with teflon tape (one turn) to prevent it from leaking there and do not over-tighten or it will snap off.

Quadra Trac II 4 wheel drive problem

Oil is added to transfer case through a plug usually located about half way up the back of the case.
When making a diagnosis, a good tech relies upon previous experience matching that to known symptoms, then upon teardown to verify his ideas. A good working knowledge is essential so the tech can picture in his mind what is happening inside the unit.(i once knew an old tech who could sit in the shop office and make a correct diagnosis as another tech drove a vehicle into the shop) That's rare, but there are good people out there! Your coupler may have to be removed, but that largely depends upon what the shop sees and feels.
Good luck

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee leaking coolant and power steering fluid

Just a heads up, $10 bucks will buy you a seal kit for the P.S. pump. I topped mine off for a couple months, then the oring on the high pressure line (from pump, front center) blew and dumped the reservoir in a matter of miles.

The line can be a stinker to get off, recommend driving the car for a few minutes to heat up the pump a little. Don't forget the 20MM wrench.
