Engine missing on 1994 ford aerostar 3.0 v6. Motor running on half to 3/4 power. I have changed plugs,wires,cap,fuel filter,oil,oil filter pvc valve,air filter. Cleaned Fuel injection. Checked and replaced all vacuum hoses.

sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere, or a vacuum line not hooked up properly

It can be a bad fuel filter. During cold start ups the dirt and rust on the filter is blocking the fuel flow that's why it misses. But once the dirt and rust is loosen the fuel flow is normalized. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you replace the fuel filter.

Plug wires can cause this.

Do spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor cap, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, oil & oil filter.

People often neglect these simple things which could save your motor, maintain it's efficiency plus improve gas mileage.

Fuel injectors, sounds like on the bad

check for vacume leaks on intake and other vacume hoses. random misfire is also usually a clogged fuel filter or pressure regulator. could also be a cam or knock sensor. are their any trouble codes.

ford had 3.8 engines one with distributor cap .and one with distributorless.so if you got distributor engine change distributor cap and rotor spark plugs and wires.also coil.if you got distributorless change plugs and wires .replace coil packs if they have alot of miles on them.replace fuel and air filter.also run good gas.like exxon -shell -marathon - texoco- good gas make car run better.

did u also change the plug wires? and you could also change the fuel filter, air filter, and the oil and filter. and if you have the know how you can take off and clean the throttle body

HAVE YOUR EXHAUST CONVERTER CHECKED! IF IT'S BAD AND YOU HAVE IT REPLACED, DON'T LET THE ONE THAT REPLACE'S IT TAKE YOUR OLD ONE!!!!! IT'S WORTH ABOUT $250.00
