Wiper Motor
Remove the air inlet screen retaining bolts/screws ...
... then remove the air inlet screen

Disconnect the windshield washer fluid hose(s)
There is a special tool available to separate the transmission drive linreplace wiper motor - 76dac5f.gifcrank arm

On some vehicles, it may be necessary to remove the nut froreplace wiper motor - 7e68234.gifcrank and remove the crank arm.
Location of the wiper arm ball crank
If necessary, unfasten the ball crank retaining nut, then remove the crank arm
Detach the electrical connectors from the wiper motor. Remove the wiper motor mounting bolts/screws.
Remove the wiper motor connector CPA clip ...
... then unplug the wiper motor electrical connector
8. Guide the crank arm through the hole in the dash/shroud upper panel, then remove the motor.
After removing the retaining bolts, turn the motor vertically ...
... then remove the motor from the vehicle

To install:
Guide the crank arm through the hole in the dash/shroud upper panel, then place the motor into position.
Install the wiper motor mounting bolts/screws. Tighten to 71 inch lbs. (8 Nm).
Attach the electrical connectors to the motor.
Connect the wiper arm drive link socket to the crank arm ball using a suitable wiper transmission installation tool. Make sure the socket is fully seated on the ball.
Use the proper tool to seat the drive link socket on the crank arm ball
Install the air inlet screen assembly.
Install the wiper arms, then connect the washer hoses.
Connect the negative battery cable, then check the wiper motor operation.
