is it a 4l80e electronic shift transmission....it may be an issue with the solenoid pack...you can take it to someone who has a scanner tool for the trans...if it is indeed a 4l80e
your getting waer or antifreeze into the tranny, you need too either put an aux cooler on it or replace the raidator!!!!
then change the tranny fluid again also drain the tourq converter!!!!
try this before you rebuild the tranny!!!!
SOUNDS LIKE SHIFTING SOLENOIDS ON VALVE BODY INSIDE TRANNY OR IT COULD BE BUFFER THAT COMUICATES WITH TRANNY OR OBC BEST TO LET TRANNY GUYS HAVE A LOOK @ THIS ONE RATHER THAN SPEND A LOT OF MONEY WITH LITTLE RESULTS
I own
a shop, and think you should have a 4L-60 in it. These look just like a 700
R-4, but aren't. There isn't much difference in them, but according to my
books it should have the 4l60, but some were 4l80. The 4l80 was mostly for
the diesel engines though. Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
