Firing order and timing for 292 ford

The firing order is 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2, distributor turns counter-clockwise. The ignition timing can be set using marks on the vibration damper. The wide mark is TDC (Top Dead Center), each mark after the wide mark represents 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 degrees before TDC. Set timing 3 degrees BTDC (Before Top Dead Center).
