Replace fuses in rover 25 early 2001 model. my handbook is for the later model and the fuse numbers do not correspond with the fusebox numbers.

By "25 maxi," are you referring to fuse number 25, or a fuse rated at 25 amps? If the latter, which fuse number is it and in which fusebox, engine or interior (under dash)??

Fords are tricky with fuses. For some "user-UNfriendly" reason, the fuse-box only shows the fuse number, and you need to look in the owner's manual to find-out which component is protected by a given fuse by its number.

Once you know the components served by the blown fuse, you can isolate the cause of high current draw.

Tell me the fuse number and its block's location (interior or engine area), and we go from there. Thanks.

Number one put electrical tape around those darn wires! Chance are you burned out something. Follow wiring to computer to see if there is a fuse or more likely,a fuse-able link. Check to see if it is popped. If not you could have fried your computer. Check fuse box also for other burnt out fuses. Peace. God bless.

There is a fuse in the under bonnet fusebox, - number 17 - that controls the immobiliser and also one in the fusebox inside the car - number 14 . They must be okay for the car to start. It may also be that the remote has become unsynchronised. You should put the key in the lock and lock the car door. Then press the lock button on the fob. Then unlock the door with the key and then press the unlock button on the fob. Are you sure the fob is sending a signal? If it has been dropped or knocked it may be damaged and this is quite common.

thats the correct way the immobilisor automaticlly resets ,if you lock the door with the key then immobilisor isnt on ,older models you could remove fuse F1 to shut off immobilisor but not on the later 25 model

the fuse is marked LTR 15 amp fuse. it is located in the ip fuse block, fuse block is located drivers side of inst panel

Aftermarket repair manuals usually include a generic diagram but there are often regional variations to this so the only reliable source is the vehicle's own handbook.

Sometimes there is a diagram on the inside of the fusebox cover with universal symbols acting as a guide to the function of each fuse and relay.

Check the #15 fuse in fusebox behind marked panel on left lower dash just below and left of steering column. This is only a 5 amp fuse but it controls a lot. This fixed our 2001 Expedition. 25 cents.

The fuse box is located under the hood in the driver side corner closest to the windshield. It is about half a foot long by 4inches wide and is black. take the lid off, and each fuse is numbered... there is a legend on the reverse side of the lid that will tell u what each fuse corresponds to.

Please ensure that all your fuses are replaced. you already know the reason why the cut in fuses occurred.
