This repair is a bit of a pain. It requires patients or you may break the plastic retaining tabs. The entire upper part of the center console needs to be removed. Use care there are plugs that need to be disconnected before pulling it away. The trim ring and cover surrounding the gear selector needs to come off and then you need to remove two screw from the trim that surrounds the climate control module. The two screws are located on both sides down low. You can also watch a video from YOUTUBE. there are a couple that are not that bad. Good Luck.
I have not owned a buick for years. However, the one I did have trouble with the power antenna motor was located directly under the antenna. It was in the rear fender housing. I have to remove the trunk lining on the side of the fender. It was mounted a bracket. It was easy to replace as it all comes as a complete assembly. Hope that helped
you would need a new a/c pump, however you you didnt want to replace it and could live with out the a/c, a cheaper option is to replace the belt and bypass the a/c. Most auto parts store will sell you a belt of the correct dimensions if you tell them you wish to bypass the a/c. I've done this for many customers. It can be done on just about any motor.
Idle position switch or sensor. I had 93 that would stall when i came to a stop. Cost me $43 but it was worth it. I don't know if this will fix it, but it sounds like it would.
R/F door trim will have to be removed. Most likely you will find linkage disconnected from the inside latch of the outside door handle. You might even find a broken piece of the door handle requiring replacement
You pop the bottom seat cushion first, some models depending on the trim level used a bolt on each side. Lift up the cushion and you will probably see everything you need to remove the belt, If you still need to remove it, there are 4 blots at the bottm of the backrest of the seat.
