I can't remember how the surpintene belt went back on my ford taurus 2001, i just replaced the water pump? can anyone send a diagram

Theres usually a belt diagram sticker either under the hood or on the body under the hood.

There should be a diagram under the hood.
Look at the pully's, those with grooves get that side of the belt and those without get the other side, work your way around the outside, doing the water pump last

That would be your belt tensioner and or water pump or idler pulley. Only way to found out take the belt off and wiggle each one.

if you cannot find diagram near radiator then remember that on and serpintine belt ribbs on pulley's need to mate up with ribbs on belt and if there is a smooth pulley it mates up to the back side of the belt. ribbs to ribbs and flat to flat.

call or e-mail a car repair man and ask them to come to your house.It might cost a little money but your problem will be fixed.

pull the water pump back off and see if something got wedged in there. your son might have dropped something in there before he put it on.

Also, this a a good opportunity to change the timing belt and the drive belts. 

Starting at the crankshaft pulley, and going clockwise, the belt leaves the crank pulley,
Goes around the tensioner,
Goes around the water pump
Goes around the alternator
Goes around the upper idler
Goes around the Power Steering pump
Goes around the air conditioner pulley
then goes back to the Crank pulley
