I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. My headlights stopping working. What I already tryed. Checked all the Fuses and they are good. Tryed to unplug the battery to see if the system would reset. The head light are fairly new because I replaced them less then a year ago. The low beams are the ones giving me problems. The Highs work just fine. Is there a Relay that I can try looking for in the engin compartment? Please help me I cant be drinving with no head lights... Thanks

Does your car have daytime running lights? It may be the drl module. The relays are part of the IPDM (intelligent power distrubution module) and are not serviceable. If the drl module is faulty the symptoms are, no drl, and one or more lights not working. Usually not grounding within the drl module.

I was changing my headlights on my nissan altima 2005 2.5 s and while changing them the low beam on my driver side stopped working can you help?

It could be the wire just before the headlight plug, or as it is sometimes referred to, the pigtail. I just had one go on my camry after changing the bulb. If you have a multimeter, you can check for voltage at the plug with the headlight switch on. If there is no voltage there while the other lights are all working, this may be your issue. These can be purchased at auto parts stores. Just need to know what type of bulb it is for. It includes the plug with wires and you just need to cut off your old plug and splice in new one with wire
connectors.

Head light 2005 altima

you have to remove the bulbs from inside of the hood in the engine compartment. in some cars you have to remove some "pins' and remove the entire headlight assembly.. You then remove the holder where the lightbulb is located and replace the bulb.
