I have a 2004 Chev Tahoe, the instrument panel is sporadically going on and off, no gauges work, nor do the information digital windows. I had a diagnostic done at the deal when it started acting up,

This is a common problem with this make and model. The problem could be the instrument cluster itself because they are not made very sturdy. They also can have parts on them that fail like capacitors. Then some of them can have problems with grounding connections at a common point called the bus. You can send the unit in and have it redone by people that specialize in this problem or you can order a new instrument cluster.

Gas gauge not working

My gauge started acting funny. When filled it would go to zero, come up to normal and then go back to empty. It was the fuel sending unit and GGMC has a bulletin on it, It cost me $128.00 at the dealers

I have a 2005 Trailblazer and the speedometer was working I stopped at a stoplight & it stopped working. Doesn't move at all.

Hi,

Pretty common issue with the 03-06 Trailblazers. What happens is the motor behind the gauge wears out over time, eventually more gauges will stop working or start acting crazy.

Check out this page for more details on Trailblazer instrument cluster repair.

Speedometer and oil gauge will go real high when driving. I tried resetting by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery that worked for a bit and now its acting up again. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have a instrument cluster going bad,but I have repaired some concerns like this at the dealership with a reflash downloaded by there Tech2.

Cluster panel acting sporatic

Is it ALL of the gauges? My wife's 2005 Envoy Denali had a problem with the gas gauge sending unit (in the tank) that made the gauge act erratic. Also, the check engine light would stay on alot. If it is all the gauges, then it may well be the dash unit. Hope that helps some.
