I have a chevy venture transmission slip

I have a chevy venture the problem is when i put it in drive and apply gas it is slow to pick up and the engine revs at 2000 to make it move, it feels like a manual clutch slip, on a cool day it behaves normally for 6 miles and then the problem appears again at cruising speed the problem is not so apparent.

from a standstill if i engage 2nd it pulls normally

In 3rd still slips.
steep slope from standstill drive does not engage engine roars

any idea as to the problem i have no leaks and the fluid level is ok

You can try a fluid and filter change and see if it helps. But from your description, it sounds like it's
time for a rebuilt(or used)transmission. Sorry to be
the bearer of bad news. Good luck.

1999 ford tauras , engine races when i was driving it. didnt really pick up speed , just sounded like it

It sounds as if your automatic transmission clutch pack is slipping. You could try changing transmission fluid, but sometimes that may make it worse. You're likely in line for a new transmission. It will continue to get worse until your car will not go at all, or it may only be worse in certain gears, depending on which clutch disk is slipping.

The automatic gearbox on my mondeo 2002 changes gears but slips

In the engine compartment, you will need to locate the transmission dipstick. Usually on the left side of the motor, labeled "Trans fluid". Pull it out and check the fluid level. Your problem could be as simple as putting transmission fluid in it. That will make it slip. You fill the transmission right down the dipstick tube.

I have a 2004 chevy venture, and transmission slips in 2nd to 3rd gear. Any suggestions?

get it into the shop (transmission shop - not the dealer) ASAP!   We just had one of the clutches go in ours - it burnt through the tranny fluid in less then a month.  This with 125k (kilometres) on the odometer...

Transmission

Well ,

If the fluid is dark, burnt , or has metal or dark clutch material.
The transmission has a burnt up clutches ,the sun shell in most cases with this transmission is the cause of failure inside. The sun shell holds the clutches and steels in place . When the sun shell breaks the transmission is loosing pressure inside. Then the clutch are not engaging . This is why the transmission is slipping This is a very common problem with this vehicle. The sensors/ soleniods are located in the valve body of the transmision. There are some cases where a transmission shop can tighten the sun shell or bands. This could be a temporary fix, The best thing to do is have the transmission replaced or rebuilt at your local transmission repair shop

NO POWER / SHUDDER

Is it a standard or automatic transmission? If standard, your clutch may be slipping. While driving down a straight road, push the brake while still in gear and push the gas pedal as well. If the engine slows with the vehicle, the clutch isn't slipping. If the engine speeds up while the vehicle is slowing down, the clutch is slipping.
If it is an automatic, check the transmission fluid. You may be low and the transmission is slipping while under load, or the torque converter is slipping for the same reason. You may have a bad torque converter clutch switch, but the computer should have picked that up and made your "Check Engine" light come on.
These are the main reasons you would be losing power going up hills unless your engine isn't powerful enough to handle the larger tires on extreme hills. (It takes more power to turn a larger wheel going up hill since the vehile has to travel further for each revolution of a larger tire. Incidentally, have your speedometer checked. You will be going faster than what the speedo says since you put larger tires on.) Good Luck.
