if there is not even luke warm air coming from the heater it may be caused by the blend air door motor. on some of the jeeps they came out with a new upper heater housing that was a new design. drain the antifreeze ,then add water and when nearly full put about half a cup of caustic soda in the rad and run this for a day or so till teh heater get hotter then flush completely and then re add the antifreeze

there should be an electric water pump exclusively for the heater. on these 201 body cars it should be under the hood, on the passenger side,near the fender well. when the heater is engadged, this pymp should turn on pushing the hot water into the heater core. if these are not working, it will obstruct the water flow.

Did you open the radiator cap and make sure the radiator is full of coolant? Sometimes the hose from the coolant reservoir to the radiator becomes plugged, and the radiator will become low on coolant even when the plastic reservoir is full.
