Your fuel pump is in you fuel tank.
you will have to drain the fuel then undo your fuel tank support straps and lower your tank then at the top of your fuel tank you will have to loosen all the bolts and remove your fuel pump from inside your tank

Testimonial: "helpful but i would really like to find a visual diagram of the tank and pump area "

check out the cars alarm first, a fault in this would cut off the engine,,,and removing the battery lead just resets it every time

While traveling engine will hesitate, ****, lose power

Check the least expensive first. Check the fuel filters first and replace them if they are plugged. Most likely it is the fuel pump. A shop can check the fuel pump pressure at the fuel rail on the engine under the hood. If the filter or filters were checked first then a low pressure would indicate that the pump is weak and needs replaced.
